Couldnt you just use diff. colors of clay instead of using up that much time painting?

depends what clay u use, but mine u have to bake it... i recommend the baking kind of clay. lol

i have a question though , when you bake the figure, how do you place it ? because i was wondering if i layed it flat on its back, would it flatten that side during the baking process ?

i try to stand it up on its base and sometimes it stays up but on its back is fine. honestly once u paint it u cnt tell realli... lol
