Comic Book Review! Classic Game Room Comics Review breaks out a review of the comic book AIR RAIDERS #1 from November 1987. The AIR-RAIDERS was a line of toys from the mid 1980's where you could play as the Air Raiders themselves or as the Tyrants of the Wind controlled by Aerozar. There were numerous flying vehicles like the WindHawk and Storm Rider. Air Raiders was not a very long lived comic book series and may not have even been made into an 80's cartoon television show like GI Joe, Transformers, Voltron, MASK or He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This first issue of Air Raiders is from Star Comics, a subset of Marvel Comics. The Air Raiders toys were manufactured by Hasbro. This first issue is in great shape and was stored out of sight for 20+ years and is part of the Classic Game Room series of video game and comic book reviews. If you liked Thundercats, Sectaurs, Silverhawks or Wheeled Warriors, check out the Air Raiders #1 review!

  • I actually have this comic. As a kid I got about 50 to 100 random comics every Christmas. As I recall it was a fun read in 1987. I guess I'll have to look for it and give it another look.

  • why so little views, this should have more

  • he man kicks ass

  • lol , gold is useless!

  • 'These people have found a way to grill air'

    That made me laugh XD

  • Disregard last comment--saw close-up of letterist credit at 3:03 and it's Janice Chiang! :-)

  • Who was the letterist? I remembered it being Diana Albers, but from the looks of that first page, it's Janice Chiang.

  • I like these comic reviews. Wish there were more.

  • Cool review nice. Book looked in awesome cond too
