Here is a way to use a freestanding roofinghoist to lift a 4x6 ibeam to the top of 16 ft post.

Maybe you should use some OSHA education with this. Ladders unstable, dropping of drill,etc

Of course you are right... but try to put that beam up there without the lift and it's WAY more dangerous.
