ESP: No hay duda de que los primeros síntomas de la humanidad es el dolor. Si en su forma aguda tiene un perfil protector, en su forma crónica se convierte en una enfermedad en sí: el dolor crónico.
El dolor tiene dos grandes aliados: uno es que no podemos ver y la otra es que no se puede medir. Por ello, hasta el 20% de la población sufre de dolor. Estos pacientes sufren en silencio y pagar su tributo con una pérdida muy significativa de su calidad de vida.
Para luchar contra este mal invisible, un movimiento social que nació en Menorca hace 6 años: La Asociación contra el Dolor SINE dolore. La asociación está constituida en la actualidad a nivel nacional y federada con otras asociaciones europeas contra el dolor. El lema del SINE dolore es "tratar el dolor, aliviar el sufrimiento y mejorar la calidad de vida".
Aquí viene el VI Foro Mediterráneo Multidisciplinar contra el dolor como una herramienta para los médicos con un interés especial en el tratamiento del dolor, independientemente de su especialidad, para actualizar sus conocimientos en el tratamiento del dolor de cada año. Así, una vez allí, SINE dolore impregna con el espíritu y los alienta a viajar con sus pacientes. La asociación ayuda a sensibilizar a la sociedad de esta epidemia invisible, este 20% de la población que vive entre nosotros, pero que no vemos.
Añadir a todo esto la atracción de la isla de Menorca, esta joya reconocida como Reserva de la Biosfera, situada en el centro del mar Mediterráneo, la posibilidad de que el Foro sea un éxito se incrementan. Además, si los altavoces son médicos importantes en el manejo del dolor, el éxito está asegurado, como hemos mostrado en la cuatro ediciones anteriores del congreso.
Para todos nosotros en esta gran familia contra el dolor, sería un honor si usted se convirtió en una parte de nuestra familia que asisten a esta VI FORO MULTIDISCIPLINAR DEL MEDITERRÁNEO DEL DOLOR. I ENCUENTRO EUROPEO multidisciplinario del dolor
ENG: No doubt that the earliest symptom of humanity is PAIN. If in its acute form it has a protector profile, in its chronic form it turns into a disease itself: chronic pain.
Pain has two great allies: one is that we cannot see it and the other one is that we cannot measure it. This is why up to 20% of the population suffers from pain. These patients suffer in silence and pay their tribute with a very significant loss of their quality of life.
To fight against this invisible evil, a social movement was born in Menorca 6 years ago: The Association Against Pain SINE DOLORE. The association is presently constituted nationally and federated with other European associations against pain. The motto of SINE DOLORE is "Treat the pain, relieve the suffering and improve quality of life".
Here comes the VI Multidisciplinary Mediterranean Forum Against Pain as a tool for physicians with a special interest in treating pain, regardless of their specialty, to update their knowledge in the treatment of pain every year. So, once there, SINE DOLORE permeates with the spirit and encourages them to ride with their patients. The association helps to raise awareness throughout society of this invisible epidemic, this 20% of the population who lives among us but whom we do not see.
Add to all this the attraction of the island of Menorca, this jewel recognized as a biosphere reserve, located in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, the possibility for the Forum to become a success are increased. Also if the speakers are important doctors in pain management, success is ensured, as we have shown in the four previous editions of the congress.
For all of us in this great family against the pain, it would be a honor if you became a part of our family attending this VI MULTIDISCIPLINARY MEDITERRANEAN PAIN FORUM. Many colleagues return every year to this meeting thus fulfilling the adage that "no one comes to Menorca once".
