No fun at all!
I don't understand why people like this bullshit!

Who is Anna Russel?
-
I have the LP of her Wagner send up.
:-)

She'll outlast you! And what's more she can spell, and know when to use conditional tenses.

This is awesome if you've read the Volsunga Saga.

The thing I admire the most in Die Walkure is the father/daughter relationship. The tender atmosphere and beautiful words of forgiveness and heavy guilt passed between the tormented Odin and valorous Brunnhilde are some of my favourite Wagner sequences, especially the final scene, just heart-wrenching and so full of love! He thinks of the pride that grew deep in him as she grew to be a courageous high-spirited girl. It's cheesy I know, but maybe one of the redeeming moments worth mentioning.

The gods died but they live again.... they are gods remember?

Hmm, the gods are actually dead... They burned up in "Götterdämmerung", remember?

I have seen the entire opera ... but admittedly it was a LONG time ago ... so I can't remember what's misleading here. Can you give me a quick summation, please 'n' thanks?

i love these parodies especially of gotterdamerung, but to be fair this segment is the most misleading maybe to the point of insult

"And they certainly DO sing it!"
My mother introduced me to Anna Russell. I love this whole 20-min summary! XD
