Actually in Willy's defense he does and can get pretty screwed up before he even starts a gig....you can take that to the bank....as a guitarist and bass player I couldn't play with the guy and I know 1st hand what some of his boys go through....until you've tried to back him up you don't know what hell is...but he treats an pays his boys very well and they are very devoted to him....

There are times that Willie just seems like he'd rather be doing something else...I saw him in concert here in Australia a few years ago...it was painfull to endure....it was the most unprofessional act I've ever witnessed...thank God Waylon Jennings was on the same bill, otherwise I would have left half way through. Everyone there that night was pissed off at Willie's performance.
