sonic praxis

This is a compilation of various weird surreal animations I have made over the years using a super 8 mm camera into a mish-mash montage. The animation segments include clay, draw, drawing, ink or paint directly on film animation. I started making these short movie clips at the age of 12, and finished my short carrer/hobbyist film animator at 17... The background music is the main thing... It is some original abstract music of Joy Diesel Jumpers. Myself and Jon made one day, I am on the violin, Jon is on the keyboards, craig blake is on the electric bass guitar in the background. I added the electronic acoustic music digitally after digitizing the animation video to a silent digital avi or mov or wmv or flv format for the computer.
