  • The first time you enter Jensen's apartment is one of the most atmospheric moments in the whole game in my opinion. Simply breathtaking.

  • how come this is not on the soundtrack that comes with the aug edition?

  • For some reason I really like the broken mirror in his appartment: it really shows just how he feels about the augments he got without his consent. It makes me feel for him even more.

  • I never say no to a DAY O' SEX

  • "It's a fucking mess out there Adam."

  • @childofthesun32 I just had my Glaswegian friend say it five times and you are completely right. "Dayofsex. Dayofsex.". "No, use syllables." "Dayof sex." "Nevermind."

  • @TheEvilEmporerBunny Haha I know you don't say "aye" only Glaswegians use it all the time instead of "yeah" or "yes". The only Glaswegians that say "yeah" instead of "aye" are the slightly posh kids with their trendy skateboarding gothic emo clothes. But aye, that's exactly it. We speak fast and very lazily. The Glaswegian accent requires very little mouth movement actually. So Deus Ex really does sound like "Day 'o Sex"

  • @childofthesun32

There's not much accent to it. As pointless and silly as our funny argument is, I'll continue anyway.

The only reason it would sound like Day O' Sex is if you do not leave a syllabic pause between S and EX. Now, knowing a few people from Glasglow, I know you guys speak fast, so I can see what you're saying now.

Also, I don't say "Aye", and I don't know anyone else who says "Aye".

  • @TheEvilEmporerBunny Compared to Glasgow... The Edinburgh accent sounds like a bunch of posh choocters. If you know people from Glasgow they are likely those posh kids that hang around the city centre saying "yeah" instead of "aye". Most of Glasgow will say "Deus Ex" as like "Day o' Sex". I don't understand what the problem is with this discussion. It's just the way it is. I'm in Glasgow and you are not. That is how people from Glasgow talk who aren't softening their accents.

  • @TheEvilEmporerBunny Yes you are from Edinburgh. You are not from Glasgow. I have lived in Glasgow for 29 years. I know the Glasgow accent better than you do. I do not say yeah. I say aye.

  • @childofthesun32 I'm from Edinburgh. And no, it does not sound like Day of Sex, even with our accents.
