  • Well, it's "Silence Kit," but thanks for posting. Envious that you got to be there!

  • The track name on the album cover was misprinted to call it 'Silence Kit' but on the CD itself and in the lyrics refer to 'Silence Kid'

  • @blackburnrfc1 i posted after reading you first comment only, a simple mistake. Also i have quite a few different versions of the song, many of which quite clearly say kid, you see 't' and 'd' make different sounds. Also if you actually listen to the lyrics "'kid" fits with the line "no one to remind YOU" for starters... oh and i apologise for pissing you off

    your fellow pavement fan

  • @BenjaminJDickson - Uh, a few things. (1) This ground has already been covered in the thread. (2) It is humorous that you're trying to prove the name of the song by asking me to "listen to what he says" - obviously because crisp enunciation is SM's trademark. (3) why did you write "lol" at the end of your post? Were you really lol'ling when you wrote it? Were you funny? Are you 12?

  • @blackburnrfc1 it's "kid", kit was a typo on the album sleeve, listen to what he says lol

  • fuck. yes. boys.

  • I was at this show. My third Sydney Pavement show, the 1st since the 90's.

This was easily the best of the bunch - they were so enthused.

Think this was their 2nd show since they reunited in Auckland?!

SM was flawless - incredible guitar/vox meets nonchalance... Perfect.

    He's a star.

Has a truly badass guitar sound too.... He gives those Strats/Jazzmasters plenty.

Anyway - one of the best shows Ive seen. Hope they break up and come back again. Again.

  • I don't think they ever played Australia when they were a real band.

  • @Kennsysmith kenny's right

  • more cowbell BOB !!!!

    awesome

  • this is the mother f'ing bomb

  • Brings a tear to my eye. I'm so happy
