Through out a challenging year, not just for me but for most everyone I know, certain things kept us growing, the things that matter most. We had been coasting along in the seasons of change, holding on to those things that kept us coasting, not necessarily enjoying or feeling, but just going, going along, but in 2009 "just going" wasn't good enough or wasn't enough to keep us going. Change was thrust upon all of us, it reached our personal shores and it performed and continues to perform its strange and wonderful alchemy. In 2009, as things fell from us, it became more clear that what's most important is what's most important for each of us to grow. It's a bit like childhood all over again, not just going, but growing, no choice but to grow. Scary and filled with possibilities.

My focus was on my daughter Willow. I learned to take time to learn through all experiences, even and most importantly, through hours of play.

And to the young at heart, we dedicate this picture.
