I'm an immigrant and I thought the show was indeed offfensive.

Yet if we study Quebec's history it makes sense. Quebecers were always made fun of by the rest of Canada, by the Americans, by the French. How can one defend oneself? By making fun of others too.

Yet making fun of other ethnicities are always risky. There's always a thin line between pushing the limits and being innapropriate.

I think they crossed the line (unintentionally), they apologized.

That's all there is to it.
