  • It is actually a half step lower, but im pretty sure he could sing it higher...he is obviously a Verdi baritone=PERFECT!

  • Sorry, Norm sings in the SHOW KEY. Why? Because I am the conductor and we had the parts directly from Broadway. I don't know what you're referring to!!

  • Is it just me, or did he sing this song a bit lower than it's meant to be sung? I love Norm Lewis, but that just seems lower than normal.

  • No, he sang the song in the show key. I know because I was the conductor and we used the charts from Bway! Thanks

  • Wow! Who's playing the synth harp on this? He's awesome! Oh, yeah, Norm Lewis and the guy conducting are pretty good too ... :-)

  • I "believe" the synth/harp is being played by Monica Lewinsky. NOT.

  • Great singer as always:D Sounded like he struggled a bit, though, but it's not an easy song, so props to him!

  • Those who think it's lower, it's not. I've performed the role of Jean Valjean and know this song backwards practically. it's in the original key.

Great rendition of the song, bravo Norm

  • Norm Lewis is my favorite baritone - although... he has better high notes than a lot of tenors on stage these days.

  • I love Norm and this is a beautiful interpretattion. I have to get his new CD!

  • @reggieMTlover609 His voice is just different compared to Colm, alfie, and other valjeans

  • @MrDiamonds01 I saw him live in the West End last month. He was better in person

  • A good rendition of a classic song. I have just clicked on your profile name after looking at it for a good number of seconds. lol

  • He totally sings it in the right key. His voice is so rich and placed low that it sounds low but it God damn high... he's aaaawesome.

  • Hoho. Got the words wrong.

  • @Lawdrahcir Could you clarify, Richard? Are you the conductor? You hadn't mentioned it.
