To an extent Wilkow is right. Americans are getting to be more conservative or vote conservative because they are ignorant about who really cares for them. America is now a conservative country where the rich will get richer and the poor are food for the rich. You get clowns like Eric Cantor and Sarah Palin because that is what Americans want. Fiscally conservative morons who are religious nuts.
Obama is a conservative not a liberal. America goes down in 2012 regardless who wins.
