Scagliola restoration is mostly complete in the Idaho State Capitol and the marble-like qualities of the round columns reflect the afternoon sunlight as brilliantly as they did in 1912 when the center section of the building first opened. As the camera pans eastward and then south, patches of flooring are seen missing as the marble restoration continues. The alcove on the south will be a public lounge area just a few steps from the chambers of the Idaho House of Representatives, the Idaho State Senate, and the Joint Finance Appropriations Committee.
