Cardenas Lava (1250 to 1100 million years old) This is the youngest formation of the Unkar Group and is made of layers of dark brown basaltic rocks that flowed as lava up to 1,000 feet (300 m) thick

The next two periods of geologic history, the Ordovician and the Silurian, are missing from the Grand Canyon geologic sequence. Geologists do not know if sediments were deposited in these periods and were later removed by erosion or if they were never deposited in the first place. Either way, this break in the geologic history of the area marks an unconformity of about 165 million years.

there are time gaps in the strata, yes, as expected. So what is your point

The Cardenas Basalt is UNDER all the layers of the Grand Canyon, it is slanted which means it had to be worn flat before the layer top to were layed down by shallow seas and deserts.
How long does that take???

"Mother?!?"
I don't know where she is, can't help you there.
(though there are rumors..)

Noncogenetic samples are sometimes used intentionally to determine the age of the common source of the samples. The results confirm that the lithospheric mantle underlying the Grand Canyon (the common source for his samples) is older than the Cardenas Basalt. Geologists have known this all along.
I have hiked in this area of the Grand Canyon, at the bottom I found a layer of rock with only shell fossils in it,
above that is a layer with shells and fish fossils,
above that is a layer with shells, fish and amphibians fossils,
above that is a layer with shells, fish, amphibian and reptile fossils,
above that is a layer of sandstone from a great desert, with dinosaur fossils on top of that.
These are the FACTS, go look for yourself. Who cares how the GC was carved.

How it was carved is the absconded falsehood of atheist evolutionists and should be reclaimed by those who take all the evidence into account, like the presence of pollens before the supposed appearance of such pollen-producing trees would have come to be. There is also the lack of bioturbation, little or no top soil, little or no erosion between layers instead of the "pancaked" flat strata which stretch 100s of miles. Soft bodied jellyfish and nautaloids need rapid burial for fossilization.

WHAY?
no erosion between layers?
there are big gaps at some levels in GC
gregrutz 2 years ago
Do you mean the millions of years of missing strata nonconformities?

these lies have been refuted over and over..
