Less than a year after this speech, the Central Health Board voted to de-fund the annual $450,000 paid for abortions in Travis County, Texas. For the first time in around 30 years, my tax dollars are no longer funding abortions. I cannot tell you the relief my conscience feels from the decades of violence done to it by my money spent taking the lives of a tens of 1,000s of fellow human beings living with me in Travis County.

Travis County, Texas (Austin) is the only county in Texas that pays for abortions, 1000 abortions each year. $450,000 annually from my tax dollars supports this atrocity. I feel raped.
