    To best describe the difference between Aaliyah and Beyonce is this: Beyonce's vocal approach is mostly hard, loud, and direct while Aaliyah's vocal approach was always soft, low key, and subtle. Aaliyah's voice Heavenly; Beyonce's voice grounded and earthly.
