@vincehagstrom hate to break it to you, but im not a "newbie" to guitar. Nor was i when i was fifteen. I choose a guitar based on quality, regardless of price. I have been taught always to look for tone, sustain, and play-ability. Also a year later, i bought myself a guild F512. wasn't bought for me. Anyway, i guess im arguing online, when its really pointless.
i do however understand what your saying about people who do judge guitars solely on aesthetic.

@nophas You buy crappy guitars cause you don't have very much money, and you don't have very much knowledge of guitars. I also think it's about not having patience to earn that much money to buy that "dream guitar" of yours. Some people buy guitars only for their looks.
A classical "newbie-mistake" you'll learn from when you get more experienced, haha.

@vincehagstrom not gonna lie, im pretty damn spoiled. But id also ask why would you buy a crappy guitar that you will have to replace, when you could get one nice one that could last your entire life?

No better guitar built than a Gibson,I own a AJ,I have never played anything finer & I have played some of the guitars you mention,I would much rather be playing a Gibson & I do!

@TehSxeNerd Why are you ragging on a 13 year old because he/she likes the blues? That's quite low. And who cares if they can't afford this. My guess is most of the people watching this including yourself wouldn't be able to afford it either. You should learn to get a life and start encouraging younger generations.

@TehSxeNerd I'm 15 i've got a couple of guitars around the price range of this, so leave that kid alone who are you to say what he or she can and can't afford? Just cause you can't afford it doesn't mean he or she can't.
