Right now, I'm going to show you the first foreign Wheel of Fortune board game I've ever owned. I got it in 2003 off of eBay from someone in the UK. It took three to four weeks for it to arrive in the mail.

The Swedish board game, Lyckohjulet, is very similar to this one. Although I don't own it, I've collected pictures of it off of various sites in order to see how it differs from the British board game.

  • Just a little blurry. Other than that it is pretty good

  • @WiiMariokartResort Thanks. Yeah, it's really a digital camera with a video function. I don't see a sound capturing device so I still wonder to this day how it gets the sound.

  • Hi!

When the British version was actually on (it ended on 21/12/2001), the numbers on the wheel didn't refer to £s but to points, which were tallied up, and the winner was the one with the most points. The bonus round didn't give RSTLNE, but instead let the contestant pick 5 consonants and a vowel.

Nice to see the board game though. :)

  • @TenTonnesOfDynamite I know the board game version of your version of Wheel was different from the actual show. In fact, I've seen it many times. I'll perhaps send you a YouTube PM discussing my knowledge for it, but there's one thing I've seen that I want to know more about. How did the 500 Gamble space from 2001 work exactly? You can PM me, and I'll put the info over at Wikipedia.

  • @quiznationrules Well... there's Vauxhall.

    And great review to germanname1990!

  • To my knowledge, the UK version (and most foreign versions) doesn't give you "RSTLNE" at the start of the bonus round, it still used the "pick five consonants and one vowel" format from clips of that version that I've seen.
