Well this is Theodores last year on his contract. His 5-4-4 record is a little misleading, he's fallen off recently but he has been playing great this season. Varly will be our franchise goaltender next season im sure. Cut Theo some slack. The Caps style of play often leaves the goalie out to dry.

Dont know why the Caps lets him play as much as they do, He sux 5 wins 4 losses and 4 OTL and a save% at 89. Varlamov 8 wins 1 lost 1OTL and a save % at 91. The stats says Varlamov the age says Varlamov. The Caps says both,,,why

They don't want to overwork Varlamov, if a golaie is worked too much in the season, they struggle in the playoffs, look at Miika Kippersoff on the Flames.
