Bit9 demonstrates how Parity stops DLL hijacking attacks, by providing real-time visibility from the console into the DLL. Parity shows the hidden file and flags the hash, which blocks the application from running. This same process is used to stop Advanced Persistent Threat attacks on the endpoint.

  • @bminer1... you are absolutely right, Bit9's Parity stops DLL hijacking attacks, but also APT and any targeted attacks to your endpoints or servers. Bit9 uses a proactive approach with their application whitelisting technology, as compared to an AV approach, which is more reactive and not nearly as effective.

  • It's nice that there's a way to protect yourself against these types of attacks.
