this is precisely what i don't understand about combat sports fans. kickboxing is just as much fabricated and geared towards moneymaking as is any other form of entertainment. why would buakaw leave muay thai and join k1? he wants the moneyyyy. it makes the world go round. stop bitching and moaning about "oh noes the rules disfavour muay thai" etc etc. buakaw made his choice, he knows what the game is like. these things are made to make money, not be some fucking worlds best fighter ever tourney

@CaptianKeyz k1 is entertainment, just like any other combat sport. whether you like to face the truth or not, these men would be murdered in mma, or boxing, or even some traditional kung fu match. they only excel in their own sport. k1 is made to please the crowd. the crowd won't pay to watch one man dominate the game forever. they also want less knees and clinches, and more flashy high kicks and boxing, so the organization changes the rules. if you like muay thai, watch s1 or something.
