@johnnieknown not according to Michael Madsens interview with FHM a few years ago. He said he regretted turning it down because he was really proud of working with QT, and isnt that proud of many of his other movies.QT only met with John after Michael turned it down to star in some other movie. Dont get me wrong, Michael couldnt have turned in the same performance as Vince Vega and John nailed the part totally- but not because he was first choice.

Daniel Day Lewis in Pulp Fiction? Damn that sounds interesting, but Travolta did a fantastic job as Vince Vega and in retrospect he deserved the role.
