Decently deep,my King Quad 450 without anything snorkeled at all will go through rack deep without having any belt problems or getting into the intake. People underestimate what a un-snorkeled four wheeler can do.

There is no way you DIDN'T get water in your tranny! If the front or back rack is barely under, then its filling up with water!

no, didn't get any water on the belt. I almost have to go through water over the seat for it to take in water. I Have done that before, just had to drain it and when I got home I opened up the casing and cleaned it out. Worked fine after that.
