  • I simply could never take this nonsense seriously. Then again, who can ever take nonsense seriously?

  • @3kliksphilip It's up to you. My invitation remains open, anytime. The mere thing that we have argued so passionately over one of my videos witnesses some common enjoyments :).

  • @PierreRadulescu Thanks. Though I tend to only befriend people I know in real life / have met online who enjoy the same activities. I'm sure you're a very nice person, but I don't think that we have anything in common what so ever :P

  • @3kliksphilip my friend, we can go on arguing, or we can become youtube friends. I looked at your videos a bit and they are awesome. By the way, do you have a facebook account?

  • @PierreRadulescu I agree. It's not what you make, it's your name that determines the success of the 'art' you make. Which pretty much proves my point.

  • @3kliksphilip My dear friend, you should care for your logic, not for mine. Because it is according to your logic that anyone could be considered a genius if she or he brings a piece of wood and a tag with a price. According to my logic, there are quite a few masters (including Ellsworth Kelly), not too many.

Let's make a test: bring a piece of wood and name a price - if anyone cares then you are a genius. If not, let the works of Mr. Kelly be admired by people who make the difference.

  • @PierreRadulescu I guess using the same logic, Justin Bieber is also a genius.

  • @3kliksphilip If your assumption were correct then anyone would have become a genius, which is not the case.

  • I just assume he tried to draw a self-portrait, realised he wasn't very good at it, so he then just went and made a semicircular piece of wood and placed it on a wall, together with a massive price tag. People then went up to it and assumed that because of its price, there must be something deeper there. They interpreted it to mean something deep- when the fact is it's so ambiguous that people can see anything in it. He might as well have left it as a blank canvas. Oh wait...

  • once i was blind, now i can see. Ellsworth Kelly has delivered me from an empty life. with the grace of his work, I will never be alone in this world again. thank you for opening the door to wonder, EK. amen. praise be.
