Video of the first two tornadoes produced by the monster supercell west of Aurora and Grand Island, NE. The TornadoVideos.net SRV Dominator tried to intercept these two tornadoes, but they were very short-lived. The main tornado intercept west of Aurora is on the Part 2 highlight video for June 17, 2009. For more insane tornado footage, check out TornadoVideos.net, and watch Storm Chasers on Discovery Channel this Fall for the whole story.

  • I was in Florida at this time :O

  • brad i think this is northeast of town you can see them pass across poleline road in the video. We were out there that day cleaning up after this storm moved through.

  • You dudes are high skilled storm chasers. I always watch your videos. I love your RC plane

  • the worst tornado in grand island was in 1980 june 13. seven tondoes hit.

  • Are you serious.....Dick Cavett lives in Gibbon?? I mean, I knew that he was born in Nebraska and all....but never figured he'd hang his hat here after his long and illustrious career. And no offense to Gibbon....it's a nice place and all....but I wonder why he chose to retire there? Anybody know?? And PS...I'm a chaser who was right next to the main Aurora tornado when it started. It was no more than 35 yds. from me. It sure became huge after a few minutes though! Aurora was VERY lucky.

  • no he dont hes from here but he dont live here

  • this wasnt even near gibbon and another thing we get 40 mile an hour winds on a sunny day
