what is your point

I think you're right. Some of my greatest friends I'll never see in real life. Thanks to the internet, it's possible to talk to people on the other side of the world instantaneously (not saying you'll necessarily understand what they're saying unless they know you speak the same language as they do).

i wanna get this straight, cause when i read that about five sixths of the world can't use the internet my first thought was "gosh! we don't even realise we've got so much more that so many others. i mean we don't think of a person with access to internet as rich, but we are.." is that the thought cause i kinda wonder...

This video was in part a reaction to the idealism and utopic attitudes people were/are having towards YouTube. As much as the internet has become a new international forum for dialogue, community and possibilities, I just thought it was worth remembering that it isn't accessible to all people and is another form of privilege.

Its a very good video but i think you just attached it to the "where do you tube from" video to boost your ratings, it has nothing to do with video your responding to

i don't actually want to "boost my ratings" but i do want people to consider this point, where you YouTube from does actually have alot to do with whether or not you have internet access.

Are these figures accurate? Hard to believe

I did my research online... you could look for yourself. (I am not so certain if any statistics are "accrate" but I do think these estimates do reflect a very real situation.
