  • Gail, you're wonderful! We need role models like you on television in the U.S. If you see this comment, please watch my YouTube video "Alternatives to Wearing a Wig". More women without hair should try going bald! If men can be bald and comfortable, why can't women?

  • Hot people are still hot without hair... fact.

  • BALDIE VERY BALDIE

  • I know it grew back for a while but I heard it fell out again. is this so?

  • I think she looks very attractive without hair. I find it unfortunate that people keep saying how 'brave' she is. This word seems to be the first one that pops into peoples heads when they see a woman without hair. It may be true, but it is also terrible... with chemotherapy, alopecia, male pattern baldness & other reasons, there must be a lot of hairless women at any one time - but most of them hide it because they are not 'brave' enough to kick against convention. We need more Gail Porters!

  • Great role model. I have been rocking the smooth head since 1995 when I lost ALL my hair at 16! I try ti be a role model too!

  • she's a darlin'

  • proves that shes a natural beauty she looks amazing even with no hair thats quite amazing.

  • People with alopecia aren't looking for others to feel sorry for them, hipervision - we just wanted to be treated like anyone else.

Bluebottle - I'm so sorry that you have ME but please don't discount the effects of alopecia. It is also a devastating disease.

  • Gail used her position as celebrity guest to sneer at and make offensive remarks about people with the neurological illness Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

I've been housebound and intractable pain with M.E. for 21 hellish years. I'd swap my devastating, incurable illness for her alopecia in a heartbeat.
