  • Ethanol is not killing the Amazon, not even indirectly. Sugarcane only uses 3% of our territory and its 2000km away from the jungle. Illegal loggers are the ones to blame, they are the ones not following the law. Funny thing about claims on indirect effects of ethanol is that people dont realize INDIRECT EFFECTS OF GAS ARE MUCH WORSE: massive oil spills, toxic pollution, dependence on imports, wars and deaths!

  • The oil companies are shameless and dangerous , they will kill the planet for a profit , and lie about everything including this , check out David Blumes websight for the truth , and if we spilled ethanol into the ocean do you think it would be a problem ?

  • dear burgundywter, are you crazy?

it´s impossible, to produce ethanol in Amazonia!

    please, do not lie!
