I was working at Fort Snelling, living on site, when I heard pipes on a foggy weekend morn--perfect! There, near end of Twin Cities runway was a lone piper practicing "where [he] wouldn't bother anyone." This tune I'd not heard before, and I asked its name. Alas, I've forgotten the piper's own! I brought out some Lagavulin, and we shared a dram. Alas again, that libation now too expensive for working men; but, the fond memory endures, and I request this song and "Amazing Grace" at my ending.
