Matthew Reid Harrison (born August 16, 1985 in Durham, North Carolina) is a starting pitcher for the Texas Rangers. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, Harrison bats and throws left-handed. Entering 2007, he was rated by Baseball America as the No. 3 prospect in the Braves organization. He made his Major League debut with the Rangers on July 8, 2008, beating the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, 3-2, outdueling All-Star pitcher Joe Saunders in the process.

On July 30, 2007, Harrison, along with Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Neftali Feliz and Beau Jones and Elvis Andrus, was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Texas Rangers for Mark Teixeira and Ron Mahay prior to the 2007 trade deadline.

Harrison threw a no-hitter for Double-A Frisco.
