  • hi bionerd23, do you think PVCs may be related to somatoform disorders or anxiety? a lot of people with this typoe of arrhytmia complain about anxiety problems, but i'm not sure if those problems start after the arrhytmias because of preoccupation and fear of them or they were present before the PVCs started. also, anxiety and stress is something common in most people who don't have arrhytmias.

also, is it true that you can live 85 years with extrasystoles? aren't they threatening?

  • @Jojos25

PVCs may have very different causes; psychological ones, such as anxiety or extreme stress. then, there may be severe cardiac problems as the cause - or a thyroid malfunction, or even allergies to food, or a lack of magnesium or potassium, for example. they occur in intoxications, too - e.g. in people who drink a lot of alcohol. usually, they're also benign - with no underlying cardiac disease and no reason to be found. in that case, they dont seem to decrease your life-span.

  • Do you exercise regularly?

  • @Chinbo666

    no.

  • I can say only this. I've done stress test, ECG, Holter ECG, Ultra sound check. Nothing showed, except on the Holter ECG. They've measured 3 VES (ventrycular extrasystole). Why it happens, no one knows..I can run for 2 miles and nothing and be calm and watching TV and have 4-5 of those. I think it is connected to the subconsciousness on some level. I have some diazepam, so when I get frightened I take 10 mg and some 20 min after that I am fine. It is really the best "cure" I've found so far..

  • i get these extrasystols when i sleep sometimes cant sleep so i watch tv until they go away it always happens when i panic in my dreams been going on for decades still here sometimes it last two days afto take lexomil or atarax to get it back to sinus rythme i hate taking those drugs they fuck you up make you stoned all day

We all die and that is something every human that is born must accept just like our ancestors did. Google this book: "PHOBIA FREE by Dr. Peter Levinson" and that will explain your anxiety. Your heart rhythm is connected to your anxiety.

I had an EPS and an Ablation of my heart when I was 19. My heart was beating 300 beats a minute in the Operating Room. I did not die but surivived for now at least.

Here is what helps: TAURINE.. Google Taurine (it's a natural amino acid) gud luck

  • @guru4u187 i have them when i workout and i dont give a fuck about them , in my case anxiety attack came first (4 years now) and than pvc. at first yes i did panick , now i dont give a fuck even if my heart explode. one thing is certain though , we all die one die and theres no difference when.

  • why the fuck is this featured ?

  • the pvc causes anxiety.

this is not caused by psychological problems.. many people have anxiety without PVC yet most people with PVC have anxiety.. why is that? It's simple PVC comes first then comes anxiety. When your heart gives you that HARD thump beat, it will freak you out and cause you to have an anxiety attack. No matter who you are or how mentally tough you think you are.

And psychology 101 and modern diagnosis for psychological problems are BULL FUCKING SHIT. This is a Physical thing

  • nothing more relaxing than the sound of a heart beat
