OUSAK playing an improvisation (taximi) in D minor ousak with quarter tones on his greek bouzouki. Using phaser effect and the extra fret on his bouzouki, he immitates (kind of) the playing of the Turkish Electric Saz.

  • do you put any effects to get that sound?

  • Yes, read the description.

  • you can add a pick-up to all bouzoukis. So I wouldn't say it's an electric bouzouki. It's a bouzouki with a pick-up, like all others, which you can plug into an amplifier.

An electric bouzouki is possibly the Silencer, a hybrid bouzouki, which is kinda like the electric guitar, with some electrical components installed in the back.
