i am currently recovering from a drinking problem, and last night, i was going to go home and drink by myself...but on my way back from work, i got into a nasty car crash at the corner of two streets. if nothing else, it prevented me from drinking and falling back into that nasty habit. i feel like this song describes that situation PERFECTLY...after all, I found God at the corner of Poe and Willard...
