It is a wonderful musical monument for a great actress, just a wonderful look back at her life with so much inherent elegance and personality.

@basilnelson WONDERFUL I BEEN READIN HER AUTOBIORAPHY LATELY

Dorothy Lamour has been one of my favorite brunettes since catching reruns of the "Road" movies on TV through the years. With smoldering dark eyes and every other physical feature to match, she was also an excellent songbird and comedienne, holding her ground between Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. I think those three are now in their greatest adventure, "Road to Paradise," where they still compete over her in a much more spectacular setting. And yet she foils them at every turn. (or maybe not!)....;)

A Legend of Old Hollywood!

She was so beautiful. May she forever rest peacefully.

Magnificent video, extremely sophisticated, maybe the best you ever did! Congratulations

Thanks for all these images. I've been a fan of hers ever since I saw one of her early films called "Her Jungle Love" with Ray Milland. Apparently, she came to hate the title "sarong girl", since as an actress she wanted to do other types of roles... But such beauty and so different from the other Hollywood "beauties"...!

Wow, she's stunning!
Very nice presentation of the beautiful Dorothy Lamour. I really enjoyed it and the other ones, too. Thank you for putting it together and sharing it on youtube.
What's the name of the first song? I'm hooked on it.
Thanks,
Greg

I remember watching the "Road to.." films with my Nan, and i said you never hear much about Dorothy these days, and she said yes but at the time, i was a teenager, and every girl i knew wanted to look like Dorothy Lamour. Very beautiful lady, this is a wonderful tribute Baz!
