  • You wonder how many birds survive this....none of them had food or water in the grossly overcrowded cages.

  • Hate this.. I loved birds and I breed parrots. The cage is supposed to be it's bed. The rest of the time they are outside. I play with my parrots 4- 6 hours a day and I feel sick looking at this video. The nest live of this owner will be a Canary or Finch, trap and they will understand.

  • These cages are too overcrowded!!! What's with these people, can't they see that it's very cruel to keep these birds in such crowded conditions.

  • @fairfresh i'm sorry to disappoint you again...

Indonesia don't have that... sigh... believe me if they do i'd join...

also, they are destined as release birds you see, if there's any person who would be kind enough to buy them and free them, but there will also be people who recaptures them again... all for sraps of money...

i wish i could stop them, but the matter is delicate... economy for these people aren't as good as western countries...

  • @9raymondo9

You live near this market? If so, you must contact the humane society or RSPCA ASAP!! They need your help, please. Please don't let these bird suffer from lack of attention and healthy food. Please my friend, do it for the bird!

  • @9raymondo9

    That's nice of you!

  • @speckles1890 sadly they do... this market is pretty popular...

  • @SCRUBSiheart it is understandable, but you see, economy in this country isn't very good as western countries... not to mention the education... i want to blame them, but this is actually more delicate than it seems...

those little finches (munias) are captured from the wild, shoved in one cage, and are sold as "release birds" (Buddhist release animals as a form of charity) if they're lucky, or, as children's first pet bird if they're unlucky... imagine the horror of being the latter...

  • @TheCuteBirds oh indo juga? salam kenal

  • @theorunmilawisdom its in Indonesia - East Java - city of Surabaya - Bratang market...

    i know, sad isn't it...

  • @fairfresh hello, i can understand how you feel.

i live near this market you see, and... people in Indonesia isn't interested in taming their birds for playing, instead they are destined to live in cages and sing... no playing outside, no aviary, just... cage...

don't worry about me though, i'm taming my canary and soon she'll be flying in her aviary

  • where this from? D-=
