True story. I remember loving this game so much, i was in the 8th grade, around 1989. I rented it over the weekend, monday came around and i went to school, during second period or so i acted sick and went to the principles office and said i need to "call mom" cause i didnt feel good. Long story short, mom picked me up and i went home to play it. About a hour later one of my best friends came knocking at my window, he did the same thing so he could watch me play lol.

I connected this through my home theater, and WOW! I did not think the NES could put out such powerful music!

All I know is, if I was the hero of this story, I was definitely getting laid that night because going through all of that without a map is a feat in and of itself.
They sure never sugar coated video games back then. Hard..core.

What was this, 20 years ago? My dad and I played this game for hours on end and we were NEVER ABLE TO DEFEAT HADES! Every time he tried he would end up knocking us back through the door, and upon re-entering his health was full. At some point we gave up. We probably just moved on to a new video game.
