You are so wrong! Thaksin doesn't know what the democracy really means. He became a Prime Minister by buying votes. He used his power changing law in order to avoid paying tax from selling his 1.9bn business asset. Now to escape jail sentence, he has no choice but getting back to power. Democracy will never be true in thailand as long as thais still vote for money.

THaksin just wants democracy to return to Thailand, so that he can come back here to fight court charges in a fair manner and that the poor can rise against present dictatorship who are backed by tha army generals and corrupt government
. Many red shirts are willing to storm BKK and voice their opinions on their own. Almost everything (media, military, courts, etc) is controlled by the government, and the government is backed by the Privy Council.
