my hanging tomato garden...wow look at the eggplants now

and some cherry tomatoes are getting ripe as well!! help with my squash!

  • i see you're using milk jugs but what is that thing you're hanging it all on? pvc pipe? how did u set that up?

  • I used the larger size pvc piping to build frame, andthe 1/2 inch size to put the handles of the milk jugs through, and placed them on top of the frame.

  • yep I used milk jugs! I cut a hole in the bottom and put the tomatoes in, then put plants on top.

  • A hanging garden that's pretty cool and great way to reuse!

  • Your squash was getting too much water is what it looked like to me. Rotting and dropping off when about thumb-sized is a sign of too much water. Cut back and within 7-10 days the problem should be resolved.

  • very very clever, how did you cut out the hole? how big? what kind of soil mixture?

  • My nieghbor gave me an idea that I will try next year, the squash needs more room to grow. I cant wait till the larger tomatoes get ripe!!
