This is one of 36 caprices written by Luigi Legnani. The caprices are thought to be inspired by Paganini's 24 Caprices for the violin. He and Paganini were friends in the 1830. They had planned to perform together, but this tour never took place most likely because of Paganini's health.
This was really wonderful. Great technique. Respect!
