We know Paul hated Jesus'Apostles and at first I thought Paul was writing about them rejecting his doctrine from hell and they were messangers of Satan. But I think we have to take him literally. Paul says several times how we are to turn people over to satan so they can be saved. If Paul is not talking about demons....who?Of course he is.

@thedagonjones The text says "messenger of satan". Dude , for the first time in my life I have true joy and love and peace from within, this is the fruit of the Spirit as Paul records in Gal 5.22. This is evidence. Further Paul suffered greatly in leaving his place as top Pharisee to suffer incredibly for Jesus and testify of the great joy that filled His soul from the Holy Spirit.

Nah. Dumbo thats not what the text says. It says a "messenger of satan" to make him weak, so we are unsure of exactly what the thorn in hte flesh was. But Paul gave a list of things that made him weak, so it was probably one of the things on that list.

James doesnt contradict Paul bc Paul didnt have satan on his back here.
