Chapter 22

Jojo- hello?
Nick noticed she sounded so sad
Nick- hey
Jojo- oh it’s you
She was about to hang up the phone before Nick stopped her
Nick- Do you need to tell me anything
Jojo-yes, it wasn’t my fault
Nick- explain please!
Jojo- I CAN’T it’s tough, nick! Can’t you just believe me!?
Jojo was crying again and Nick couldn’t figure out why
Nick- what is wrong with you!!
Jojo- I miss you!
Nick- you can’t miss me when YOU broke up with ME!
Jojo- please Nick! Just listen!
Nick- OK!
Jojo- I didn’t do anything wrong!
Nick- YOU SAY THAT EVERYTIME! EXACTLY! YOU DIDN’T DO ANYTHING WRONG! YOU BROKE UP WITH ME!
Jojo- stop yelling!
Nick- NO JOJO!
Jojo- Nick, this is tearing me apart! I’m sorry!
He hung up and she sat in her room thinking. She continued thinking when she heard a knock on the door. It was Katie
Katie- there’s some one outside to see you but-
Jojo immediately thought it was Nick, so she ran down the stairs and out the door. When she got outside she was anything but happy.
Jojo- JAKE!?
Jake- yep, I thought we could finish our business from last night
Jojo- stop! You already ruined my life!
Jake- come on…
Nick walked out of his door and stopped when he saw Jake and Jojo. Jojo had her back turned to him, but it looked she was pushing him. He whispered in her ear and kissed her.
Jojo- stop!
Jojo walked back in her door and Jake followed. Nick rolled his eyes and walked to miley’s house. Miley’s house was right next to Jojo’s and you could see in her window from Miley’s bedroom. Nick rang the doorbell and they walked up to Miley’s room.
Miley- hey
Nick- hey
He kissed her and she kissed back. They started talking when Nick noticed something out of the corner of his eye. It was Jojo and Jake in her bedroom. They looked like they were fighting. Nick broke away from their kiss and looked out the window so he could see better. It was them fighting. It looked like Jake tried to kiss her, but she shoved him. He shoved her back.
Nick- Miley? What is that?
He pointed out the window to Jojo’s room
Miley- nothing, honey
Nick- that doesn’t look right. Why are they fighting?
Miley- I don’t know, they already broke up once
Nick continued to see them fighting and yelling at each other.
Nick- Miley, I got to go
Miley- why?
Nick- I just do
He got up, but Miley grabbed his arm
Miley- come on, baby
Nick- I really got to go
Nick ran out of the Miley’s house and bust through the door of Jojo’s. He saw Maggie and Katie in the kitchen and he went to talk to them
Nick- why are Jake and Jojo fighting
Maggie- like yelling?
Nick- yeah, and hitting and shoving
Katie- Nick, you know they never really got back together?
Nick- what?
Maggie- yea, they never got back together like you thought
Nick-then why did she break up with me?
Katie rolled her eyes and told him the whole story
Nick- I feel horrible…
Maggie- you should, you never really gave her a chance to talk
Nick- I need to talk to her
Katie- Be careful, she’s already upset enough
Nick saw Jake walk out the door as Jojo came down. She saw Nick and immediately ran back up to her room.
Nick- now’s my chance
