Stop being so childish! And stubburn. And stop wasting the police time.

So if the police told you to drop your pants and bend over would you??? NO??? well want if it was a law??? ask yourself why you have to give your name and details when you have comitted no crime????
-
@crapgame11 Where does it say a cop has sworn an oath to uphold common law? It does not say that anywhere in their oath of office.
-
@paul1967uk And Paul, look at the crime rates. Crime is falling and detected crimes are up with prisons full up. Seems a bit strange your comment that they don't "have the balls to catch real criminals". We do have freedom of speech, doesn't mean we can do what we want though, there are limits. Callin me a natzi?? You won't even listen to my opinion so its alright when freedom of speech suits you eh?

@paul1967uk Protesting can be a crime under certain conditions. This video doesn't exactly show what had happened to lead up to this. And is there any need to be so insulting? Its always interesting that folk who claim we live in a free state are SO angry and insulting to other folk who disagree with them. No I am not a police officer, I just respect the great work they do.

@Traveller6abcxxx Officer Traveller, since when is protesting a serious crime. its no wonder that we have so much crime in the UK, because assholes like you and your muppet brain washed mates, do not have the balls to catch real criminals. Your obviously a cop. Do we not have freedom of speech you natzi loving douchebag. ?
-
@paul1967uk Oh that sright Paul, YOU pay their wages. Do you know how daft that sounds? The police pay taxes to and usually a lot more than the majority of folk they deal with. So police should only nick druggies, thiefs and muggers and just ignore every other crime that is committed? Just prioritise these 3 and no other? My wouldn't that be a lovely society to live in!

Dan the law you speak of is not LAW..It is an Act and statute given the force of LAW through consent. The human being who was arrested shouldnt have entered into joinder by the policy enforcement officer. Remember the constables who arrested him have sworn an oath to uphold the common law Not the acts and statutes of the corrupt politicians. Lear the difference between legal and lawful

I am saying that if the police acted lawfully (let's assume they did) then their behaviour represents a police state.
It is the law and the people upholding these undemocratic laws (i.e the police) that makes the UK a police state.
This has nothing to do with being stripped of our liberities he was arrested for refusing to provide his name, as he is required to do by law. The officers have had this power since 1984 (PACE) it's not a "new" power. If he had just provided his name he would have been issued a summons and could have had his say in court. My point was he was only arrested becuase by refusing to state his name he left the officers no other option (can't issue a summons to someone if you don't know who they are)

How childish, all he had to do was give them his surname which he is required to do BY LAW and he wouldn't have been arrested. This isn't a police state if it was they would have stomped him to the ground without speaking to him.
Grow up and get some perspective. UK police are amongst the most restrained in the world
