This is an upcoming movie adaptation of a children's book by Tatsuya Miyanishi about a Tyrannosaurus that adopts a baby Ankylosaurus, who mistakes "Omae Umasou dana" (you look delicious) for its name.
Release Date: October 16
Official website: http://www.umasoudana.com/
Song: "Kimi to Iru Jikan no Naka de" by Ayaka Hirahara
This instantly reminded me of "Land Before Time"

  • Does anyone know if there will be an English release of this?

  • @xxliew

I'm amazed that ppl see this as a Land Before Time ripoff, since that storyline is nothing similar to this. there has to be alowed to be more than one kind of dinosaur movie XD

  • @pepe7148

    IT REALLY DOES.

    1. They both based on childrens books with much sadder endings.(have a feeling that it's from the same author)

    2. The art style is very similar.

    3. The pacing is very similar.

and 4. They're both just as dramatic, tear jerking, funny and includes more natural gore than any kids movie nowdays XD

    JUST AWESOME!

go hide yoruself in a pit, you sad, sad creature. not even a mother can love your face!

  • @L7world No, the place where they keep the beard Transformer.

  • The entire thing is already subbed and on youtube.

  • lol, WTF am I watching?

  • I just finished watching this movie. I generally don't watch animes, but I have to say this is a downright great find. I did indeed shed some manly tears while watching this alone in my basement, with the only comfort of my Spongebob snuggie.
