All DPF filters will see bench time because they also can't clean ASH out. They should have made them like the Euros DPF element. Pressure wash it and get back on the road.
after thats done, you can put the dpf back on and continue to get 40% less mpg then without it and also have your turbo get cloged with soot when it doesnt clean. wow thats great, less reliabilty and mpg. the oil companys must love these new filters, I myself would rather not through gas $ down the toilet to the oil co. and keep my diesel reliable at the same time. If that where my truck i would go ahead and NOT put the DPF back on, and if the EPA dosent like it then they can go to hell.
