Indonesian oil well blowout

Indonesia oil well blow-out belonging to the Lapindo Brantas company, a complete ecological disaster. Not oil but boiling mud & muddy water. Blowing out over 1 million bbls/day.

There are over 2000 dump trucks hauling dirt, 47 dozers & 24 trac hoes all running 24/7, to keep building up the levees, to contain the mud & water .

Over 29,000+ acres, are literally under mud & water, anywhere from 10'-45'. Over 15,000 people have been displaced. Farm land, homes, villages, manufacturing plants, stores are devastated & under all this mud & water.

This tragedy cause of human error. The owner of company is Bakrie (He his the one of cabinet minister in Indonesia).

Bakrie group intentionally for not to apply casing ( Open hole). 70% the company do boring without casing. This loss have to in Indonesia government mediocre and interest of property of Bakrie. President Indonesia hardly fear with Bakrie, because 80% of campaign fund came from bakrie

You could have one person per house and it would only take up 72% of Australia Land mass Squared. So statistically you still have what... 82% land on Earth with absolutely no population.

@Brahulators Yeah but we use it because oil companies want to make a profit. Companies will not make use of alternative energies. The love of money is root of all evil. And oil companies love money.
