I admit it, this really isn't my best review but I'll work on it and the next review will be better. I don't know what I'll be reviewing yet but I assure you the review will be better.

dont really understand what the problem is, Oskar didn't say du kan kommer in (you can come in) so therefore she is not able to without beeing hurt. And the backround on eli i mean thats the thing with her. it adds to the feeling and the mystery sry for my bad spelling and "that guy" Håkan is her step dad same thing here adds to the mystery concept.

@apocalyptica55555 The invite thing was only a problem because it was never actually specified in the movie that the invite had to be spoken in such a manner. All she said was that he had to invite her in and as I said, in my mind, crooking ones finger and making click click noises would mean Come in. Hakan is not her step-dad nor was he pretending to be a step-dad. They were going with dad but the reality is he's simply a companion she's chosen because she can't survive on her own.

Yeah but, Oskar was being somewhat of a jerk when he "invited" Eli into his apartment as if he was calling a dog!

@chicograndeblast Oh definitely, he was a total jerk in that seen. It still seems like it should have been considered an invite though. I have read the book now so I understanding why they went the way they did, but still it would have been better for the movie to have explained it more.

Let The Right One In leaves a lot of things to your own interpretation. It doesn't explain everything because it allows you to think for yourself. Oskar's finger wagging didn't work as an invitation, so we can all ASSUME that a vocal invitation is necessary. I don't really see why this would have needed to be spelled out in the movie, it's pretty obvious.
