Learn Arabic - The Arabic Alphabet - Video [1]

Hello Everyone! My name is Michael. I am an American citizen. I was born in the Midwest and decided to take Arabic classes while in college. After several years of formal/intensive training, I started to really get into the language and became quite fluent. One of my key passions in life is linguistics. I am very excited to share my knowledge of Arabic with you. The language is very beautiful, rich, and multi-dimensional. Arabic is quite difficult to learn, but I am here to help. Just know that it IS POSSIBLE to learn.

To learn Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), it is absolutely essential to first learn the alphabet and understand all additional symbols and diacritics. If you try to learn Arabic without first learning how to write and read Arabic, you will not get very far (although you may learn a few basic phrases and recognize a few basic words).

When learning Arabic, especially for English speakers, it is important to get a perspective from a native English speaker. Arabic is a very difficult language to master, but it is possible if you have the proper instruction.

My Arabic Alphabet instruction is comprised of five individual videos. Each video has a link at the end of the video, which links to the next.

Learn the Arabic Alphabet and there's no stopping you. Reading and Writing in Arabic is so logical and sensical. Write it as it sounds and read it as is written. Unlike English!
