So what makes this cynical Scotsman shed a tear. At 16 finding a Clifford T Ward album in my brothers room with this strange looking guy on the front cover. Am now 52 and still playing his music. This is music for people who have lived. Birth, death, love and pain its all there. Do yourself a favour and start to buy this mans music your life will be better for it. Possibly one of the things that makes this man's songs so endearing is the fact, he wasn't an egotistical, career obssesed, I must have flowers/chocolate etc in my dressing room individual. He was a teacher from a Midlands school, he wrote music that strikes chords with people, but most of all, he was accessable. To his pupils, his fans etc. Thank you for brightening up the 70's for me Clifford. God bless.
