2 honks mean forward, 3 means reverse, 2 longs a short and another long is a crossing sequence, thats all i know

Can someone tell me, do the trains of this kind have some kind of communication system when they use their horn or is it just a random thing?

Yes I know that BC is canadian province.
It is my dream to visit this part of Canada for a long long time.... but unfotunately im still here in Slovakia. Our trains are much shorter than this one on the video. Really nice one.
